Michelle Westmark Wingard
Michelle Westmark-Wingard is a Professor of Art and Gallery Director of Bethel University’s two exhibition spaces. Previously, she was Assistant to the Gallery Director in Pratt Institute’s Department of Exhibitions and had the opportunity to work with Creative Time and A.I.R. Gallery in New York City during graduate school. Her photographic and curatorial endeavors often explore themes of memory, perception, and interconnection in an increasingly globalized digital world. She has curated several exhibitions and has also exhibited her own photographic work locally and nationally. She received her MFA in photography from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York in 2006. She lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
